Im not real sure but Champion coppers are the only thing you are supposed to use even though some plugs will be ok. And at Holbrook did you clear the codes?
I cleared the codes a few times. When I changed plugs I used ac delco coppers. I'm going to try unplugging the battery for a few hours today and see if that clears everything. The truck does have noticeable miss though when holding a constant 2k rpms at 30 - 40 mph.

The longer you leave the batt. cable dosent change anything, 5 min is good but if you leave it off for a couple of hours it wont hurt. Not ragging on ya just letting you know in case your in a rush or something.
I work as a carpenter so I figured when I got to the job site I'd just disconnect it and leave it till I was ready to leave the site. Tomorrow I'm going to do the battery in the morning and if that doesn't help then Saturday it's new plug time.

Sounds like you have a good game plan, save your money with the plugs like we all said champion coppers. And at 2 bucks a pop its cheapier than 16 six dollar plugs
