Default 5.7 Hemi MDS Issue?

I have a 2007 Ram 1500 Quad with a 5.7 Hemi. It recently started to cut out at around 35-40 MPH when the RPM's are hovering around 1500-1700. I have been running 91 gas and have ran two bottles of injector cleaner thru the crazy thing. Is this the MDS or should I look elsewhere?

The truck has good power and seems to work fine otherwise.

Thanks!!!!!!!!

It shows no other issues. No lights at all. I have not hooked it up to a computer for any error codes.

Sounds like the MDS kicking in. Usually the tach will rise a couple hundred rpm when it kicks in. Put it in tow/haul mode and see if it goes away, if so, it's just the mds doing it's thing.

I agree, I work for a roofing company and we spend a lot of time in neighborhoods where the speed limit is 5-30 mph. The truck goes back and forth from MDS on to MDS off the whole time. I just put it in tow/haul mode when I have to drive at lower speeds.

I will try it out tomorrow. Is there a way to shut of the MDS?
