Default Resonator questions

Ok guys need your suggestions here, I put on my Aero 3030xl (yes the one with the resonator built in it) and I left both stock resonators on also. I like the sound when I get on it, but I'd like it a little louder. So I was thinking of cutting out the back resonator but in order to reuse the stock piping with hangs I would have to weld in a new piece and it is at a bend on both sides of the rear resonator, if I do the front one before the muffler it is just another straight piece and much simpler. My dilemma is will this actually make it louder or make a difference if I cut this one out? Also will I get any drone if I cut the front out vs. the back?

If any one has tried this or can chime in and give some feed back that would be awesome.. Hope this makes sense to you guys as it is kind of hard to explain. Basically I want to know the difference in cutting out one vs. the other.

Thanks.

I left both of mine on so I can't really be of any help here but I'm glad you like the sound of the 3030. Just can't go wrong with that muffler.

To clarify for myself and anyone else...the muffler is just behind the 2-1 Y, right? Then the first and second resonators are nearest the rear axle? I have stock exhaust for now but I'm wanting to hack off that resonator that sits parallel with the fuel tank...the things the size of a friggin' ice chest, lol!
I've been thinking about going with the AT3030...it's quiteter with the resonator?

NO, there are two resonators one before the muffler and then one after it. The big friggen thing in between the two is the restrictive piece of crap muffler. the resonators do a very good job of quieting down the exhaust, actually to much as I ran mine with the first resonator and straight out the 3030xl and it was plenty loud, then I hooked up the tail pipe with the resonator on it and it totally cut the sound by 3/4's maybe more??
So, I want to know if anybody cut out the first one instead of the last and what kind of sound you have?????? Anybody?????????

I would remove the front one first and see how you like it. It should be a little louder. In 08, they didn't use a front resonator, only a muffler and the one in the tailpipe. Remove the front one and install a piece of 3" pipe in it's place.
