Default Bought Reciever, need bolts!

Hey guys, so I bought a receiver hitch used, from a 2006 Dodge ram, and its the original mopar. I need the bolts to hold it in, where can I find these? Dodge dealer?

Also, does anyone have the schematics or instructions on how to install. I think it should be pretty straight forward... right?

Thanks,
Ryan

It's really not that hard of a thing to do.I did the samething as you and it came with no bolts either.I looked on ebay for one that was like mine,Alot of them have instructions with there bid page.I got the list of bolts and stuff i needed and went to Lowes.I got all grade 8 bolts. The hard part was finding the hex flange nuts (there the part that goes in the tube with the bolts) fortunately i had some from an old truck i put a hitch on.But heres a link to an instruction page,I hope it helps a little.

Agreed, I would go to Lowes or any hardware store and get from Grade 8 and whatever you need. Lowes is normally where i get my hardware.

Yup, I need the hex flange nut. Where on earth can I get those. I went everywhere today, Dodge dealer, nothing. Fasnal, nothing. Tractor supply, spillar custom hitches, and nothing. They scratched their head and finally spillar told me to just have it welded on. Opinions on that? I have it on now, with the two bolts in the bumper, its pretty strong, or it seems to be, but im not towing anything with it like that untill I can fix it properly..

I believe those nuts are actually patented, so it would be a mopar (dealer) only item, but etrailer.com claims to have EVERYTHING. Call them, can't hurt. 800-298-8924...

ya don't tow on that yet, also i think bolts are stronger than welds* when it comes to stuff being pulled from it

*the weld sometimes makes the metal around it weaker and that is where it will break

But when I went to the dealer, he told me that the only way I could get it, was to buy the entire kit. $120.
