Wonder if that's converter lock-up?

Throttle body should be cleaned, I believe there is a DIY in the FAQ section. Although an EGR can be cleaned, it's better to just replace it at about 40k miles, $39.95 at most auto parts stores (or $75 at dealer)...

it will just happen when on a flat road im going about 65km/h 2500rpm then once i hit 70km/h the rpms drop to about 1500 to 1200 but then if i give it some soft throttle it bogs out I just bought the truck about month ago.Is it a bad idea to drive in tow/haul if not towing.Hammer i guess you are talking about miles my truck has 74000kms witch is around 45981 miles so im geussing i should change the EGR and thanks for the info ill let you guys know how it turns out. Im only 19 and im pretty new to the new trucks i had a 89 toyota would crawl anywhere.

I used to have a flat spot in the RPM range when I had my OEM air intake system. I distinctively remember losing that flat spot when I took all that out and added my CAI.
