I have a 2005 1500 hemi slt crew cab just wondering how i would tell i can sometimes feel less power thru 70-90kms if i dont step on it.

 

2005s don't have MDS

 

it goes away if i put tow haul on probly just boggen it completly stock

Overdrive isnt meant to be powerful or high performance.

And why does my 70kms convert to 156mph?

 

MDS = ALL non-maga cab 1500 series trucks from 2006 on. You do NOT have MDS.

Bog at that speed is probably more an issue of transmission tuning than the engine itself, although the engine can bog pretty bad if the Throttle Body and/or EGR valve is gummed up.

A Superchips tuner would allow you to customize your transmission shifts and eliminate "dead spots"...

 

70 kms?! That's flux capacitor velocity.

 

I thought maybe some models of 2005 and had it,I was planning on getting a superchip anyway and a few other mods.Is it hard to clean out the EGR valve??
