Default New Member w/Tail gate?
Just bought a 07 Ram 1500 Regular cab with a short bed and wanted to know if the tail gate can be removed easy? I live in SoCal and I know the Ford tail gate is stolen alot if you dont lock it. Do I have a concern?

Welcome,
yes the tailgate can be removed without tools. My area it is not a concern but better to be safe than sorry....

ya you can get a pop lock for like $15 and she'll be secure

Yeah, we have seen guys come in here and post about thier tail gates being stolen in no time flat. I would also add hose clamps also though Jimmy Jammer makes one called the Gate Keeper

Bout a year back we seemed to have a lot of posts in a short period of time 'bout tailgates being stolen. Think they were all in Texas if memory serves...
