Question Ram 1500 Lift Kits

Im looking into lifting my truck 2-3". However, Im not sure if I want a body lift, suspension lift, leveling kit.....or what on earth I want. I basically just want to bring the front end up a bit so my truck isn't nose-diving. Suggestions? Pics so I can get an idea? Thanks guys!

Leveling the front would probably be the easiest if you only want to get rid of the front being lower.

if you want to get rid of the forward rake of your truck, you want a leveling kit. If you have a 2wd then the biggest leveling kit you can get is 2". If you have a 4x4 you can get a 3" kit. They cost about 100 dollars typically sometimes less. A good site to order from is either

autoanything.com

or

summitracing.com

both reliable sites I've ordered form there before. When you enter the site just select your year make and model and go from there..

level out the front end. Its easy and cheaper than a full lift! Did it to my '06 mega, I got the kit off of e-bay CHEAP. less than $100

leveling kits are also much much cheaper than a body or suspension lift system

a leveling kit is the best option for you...$80 and you are on your way (considered a suspension lift also)...you can get a 1.5, 2, 2.5 or 3 in leveling spacer and a 2.5 is the best bet IMO for your truck... fatbobsgarage.com all the way

You could do lift springs or spindles, both a little more expensive but better options

a body lift wont help with the rake of the truck

I know it has not been clarified if the OP has a 2wd or 4wd but if is it a 2wd then I would say to level it by doing it the RIGHT way and not necessarily the cheap way. By that I mean picking up a set of lift spindles. Sure they are 300 but you wouldnt have alignment issues as the stock suspension wouldnt really change.

Its 4x4. I want the look, cost effective...but I also dont want to be fixing things because I lifted it the 'wrong' way. My truck is 'spoiled' and gets what it needs.....

IDK much about 4wd's but can you guys (and gals) crank the torsion bars to level out in the front?
