yeah i know im not happy about having to do it, but it not being level is buggin me. i will make sure the ubolts are long enough. if they aren't, my uncle owns a suspensuion shop, does mostly big rigs and stuff. but i can get him to make me longer ones =0)

I bet those springs are the same ones that go on the quad cab!! Less wieght means more height. Thats the only other thing I can think of. Anybody have qc build sheet handy, Have the op get one for his truck. Get the same year if possible. I bet the factory screwed up. Or at least put the heftier springs on for a special order. Thats all I got.

negative Rocket, the bed is going to weight the same, the cab is not connected in any way to the bed....so theres the same weight on the springs SC and QC as long as they are both short beds

how would taking the over load spring out affect ride? make bumps worse or better?

sitting here reading other posts, and what other guys have done to lower the rears. still beating around the idea of the belltech drop shackles. only thing that worries me is that on moes performance it says 1 1/2" drop, on the belltech site it says 1.25' drop. 1.25 i could probably deal with without having to get long shackles.

Are you OCD?

Mine settled about an inch in front after the install. Why are you sweating it so bad about 1" higher in the back? Is is that noticeable?

when it comes to this i think i am. on a single cab short bed it is noticeable

put sand bags in the back of your truck till it reaches what you wish to accomplish
