Jake I have no idea what you are talking about...I think you think all diesels have an engine block heater?

and I hate the ambient temp sensor location and relocated mine....yours looked melted at the end?

Its not melted. Thats dielectric grease. When there made they are a two piece unit. we make the thermistor that reads temp. and an outside shell. Then the shell is filled with the grease and the thermistor gets snapped into the shell. All that happened is the outside shell broke.
