i was curios if i can put all front parts from a year 2006-2008 dodge ram to my 2002 dodge ram?

i have purchased a hit truck in passenger side and i need to change the head light ,fender,bumper.

and someone told me that you can make it a 2006 to 2008 body style by changing the from fenders and headlights and the grill ,,thats all,,
is this right,,
anyone try it?
and is it legal?

Yeah it can be done and its not illegal. Its basically the same thing as putting Cadillac front clip on a Chevrolet truck.

You'll also need the top bumper piece if it got damaged. the 06-08 is flat under the headlights where as 02-05 curves under the headlights.

so just to be clear,

need to change:
-fenders
-headlights (will this clamp into the older model support?)
-grill (from the hood)
-also the top bumper piece

will the crome bumper be the same ?

because i may want to do this,newer style ,,anyway i have to spend some money to buy for 02,,why not make it 06-to 08 body style...

Or a Magnum front clip on a 300 or Charger. It's been done more than a few times.

 

The fender basically hold the light in. And yes the bumper is the same except for the top plastic piece.

And i wasnt aware of the magnum front fitting the 300 or charger. Ill have to check that out.

i think will spend few dollars to make it ,the new body style (06-08),,
then spending on old body style,

It's all the same platform (300, Charger, Magnum). I've also seen a 300 front clip put on a Magnum body to make a 300 wagon. Even the Challenger is just a modified LX (shorter wheelbase, just like they did back in '70). There's a guy on the LX Forum that has one in his avatar. I'll see if I can find it.
