waking this from the dead here. So for an '03, the 2.2K resistor between 1 and 3 is all I would need? the 350 (390) ohm on 2 wouldn't benefit?

I know this is way old, but i'd kinda like to know too after reading through this thread, is there a consensus from anyone? Is doing both beneficial? 2.2k on 1 and 3 plus the 390 on line 2? Or just the 2.2k? Anyone want to report back after doing this for a while?

I have had mine on my truck what's seems forever. I'm currently almost at 86k and no issues. My trans shifts very firm and I have no complaints or regrets

Just did this mod today, gotta say I love it. Great mod, especially for the 10 bucks or so it costs. Nice firm shifts, feels quicker too. One of my favorite mods yet.

did this with the power wire back when i first got the truck, very noticeable difference and i think its actually why my tranny is still as good as it is today. great mod whether you make it or buy it made!

So WHICH did you do the 2.2 or the 390 on line 2?
I got codes with the 2.2 on wires 1&3 but wondering if the 390 on line 2 would work on a 02

I did the 2.2k on lines 1 and 3, no codes for me so I guess im one of the lucky ones. I didn't see any good conclusions about the 390 so I decided to not to that for the time being.

its the transmission that matters, not the engine, it works on a couple different transmissions, but not all of them. I thought it was listed at the front of this thread, ill double check.

Edit: ok it only works for the 5/45RFE according to oldirtyjohn, so if that's whats in the 4.7 you should be good to go. I don't have any experience on the 4.7 but maybe someone else can chime in. Or you can check your build sheet or crawl under and look, i think it's stamped on the tranny if im not mistaken (not sure though).
