Im sure you could also disconnect the electrical connector to the AC compressor to keep the clutch from trying to engage. Between removing the electrical connector and the belt, wouldnt that have you covered?

If ur doing it to get a lil more power, goto summitracing.com and get the smaller drive pully. And I know, I know, underdrive pullys can b bad. BUT the one from summit is properly balanced to avoid wobble $hit. From what I've heard on here its a nice lil mod.

I still don't understand why you want to bypass the a/c unit or what are the advantages you get from doing it !!!

Worth about a tenth at the track but personally would not do it on the street. Some have removed everthing pertaining to A/C (condensor included) and took about a 40-50lb weight savings.
