Default custom painting tail light

I painted my headlights white to match my truck color and really liked the look. I did the whole oven at 180 and pulled them apart thing. My question is has anyone done this with tail lights, particularly led tails? Thanks

Ive never seen anyone pull apart tail lights either. However, if anyone would know or can do it, then it is Demon-Hemi over on Dodge Talk.

hmmm interesting. I was wanting to get the Black LED tails, pull them apart, tape up the LEDs and paint the Black to White jus like my heads. In theory, if the tails are held together the same way as the heads then i can put em in the oven. I'll post pics of the "attempt" install when I order them and they come in.
