I have a stock hitch system on my 05 ram with a ball popped up through my bumper.

Would bolting that onto the factory tubing all I need to have a decent hitch setup?

Yes it bolts to the OEM cross tube, I think it is a Class III hitch.

I was jsut about to order a full Class V hitch assembly, but that means i can get away with bolting the receive on. I dont plan to tow more than 5000lb anyway.

money saved.... might mean new gears
