so when i turn on my defrost white dust goes everywhere and it shows up really bad on the black dash any ideas what it is and how to get rid of it

 

Ahh... the joys of changing seasons... has it been a while since you used your defrost?

Is it a continuous white dust? Do you use a white cleaning rag do dust your dash?

I'm kind of baffled by this one, sounds like something got in the vents, unless it could be something coming up from the vent system.

 

Cocaine??? Lol jk could be old airbag dust maybe? or maybe it just looks white?

 

well when i first noticed it i left it on for about 20min and it still does it and yes it is white, and lol im pretty sure its not cocaine

 

As in REAL white DUST or just like fog? Ive never seen dust come out of a vent before and especially if you use your ducts often. Maybe someone is playing games or tricks with you.

 

I was thinking airbag dust, too... that stuff smells.

Said it was landing on the dash, which seems more like a dust.

Pics would help here and then post a video on youtube so we can check the density. Dodge doesn't use asbestos do they?

Only way it could be cocaine is if you picked it up from a county auction. Did you get the carfax?

 

NO ONE uses asbestos anymore. Maybe someone put baby power down his vent to ***** with him as a joke.

 

lol im pretty sure its not a joke, and it could be airbag dust i really need to get the carfax report becaue the front right wheel has some dings in it and my drivers door has a number written in yellow. and if it was airbag dust how would i get it out

 

take the dash apart and clean it or let it run for a few hours... thats all i can guess. and yea get a carfax for sure.

 

how hard is it to take the dash apart im gonna search but i kinda get demotivated quick when i comes to searching lol
