Since you serviced the trans yourself, did you change out the o-ring on the flat filter before you put the filter on and did you use the bolt to hold the flat filter in place?

 

Well, this is where is tricky.....just because when you turn the truck off and then back on it's good doesn't necessarily mean it's electrical induced. All that means is that the computer has detected a problem and has put the truck into a temporary limp mode possibly because lack of pressure due to a loose filter???? And then when you turn the truck off and back on, those codes are cleared and the computer will reset itself back to normal until it senses the same problem again.

 

Ill hav to pull the pan but yes maid sure the old o ring was out and new was right and put the bolt back in...why doesn't the check engine light ever come on ?

 

Special thanks to Buff929 and Master Tech for the feedback. The dealer had it for 4 days, could not reproduce the problem it again. It used to like to do it first thing in the morning. But now it does it hit or miss, after 2 hours of being shut off.
The feeling is like when it is -35 and the truck will barely roll even when lots of throttle is given.
The rest of the gears are normally fine but it does always feel totally random when it decides to shift, ( always feels a bit different from the last).
