First things first, take the tuner and return the truck to stock settings. Don't just take the word of the manufacturer. Eliminate that from the equation.

I don't have any experience with the Edge, it's not one of the favored tuners for a gasser. I do remember reading not too long ago that they were having a problem with Furd PowerStroke trannies and the Edge for that truck.

Also, with an '07 you should have lifetime powertrain warranty (if you are the original owner). If you goto the dealer I'd be sure to put the stock tune back on and hide the tuner.

I know a few guys were having problems with their transmissin because of the filter was improperly seated when they did a pan drop. They would have issue's when going over bumps or even just cold starts. I would drop the pan and verify that the filter is indeed seated correctly and eliminate that possibility before you start spending any money.

That's true 'dog, I didn't think about that. Been more than a few posts by guys who thought they were destined for a tranny rebuild and found out it was just a bad seal on the filter...

Hi, Have the same issue, minus the tuner. Dealer just did the service, fluid and updated seal and filter and had the problem occur again after that, but they can't fix it not knowing what is really wrong. So i have to wait until it get's worse. I have a year left on the power train warrenty and it is fully documented with them. Will update if it gets any worse, drives me nuts though.

Did the dealer ck the transmission for codes and if they did, were there any codes? What gears how you having problems with? You could have few component that could fail. You had one of them already done. The others could be the valve body accumulator plate or valve body, burnt clutches or seals. Oh lets not leave out the solenoid pack...which is on the valve body.
