Ok I got ya. Well that sure saved you some coin! I apologize for giving bad info as it was only learned on here about that.

See, i purchased an Alarm/starter combo so it was an option whereas a strictly remote starter would likely include that. Good to know. I do know Derek does things properly and I will continue sending him my money for products.
Everytime I called him he would BS for 20minutes and not rush me off the phone. I liked that.

Yeah, If I hadn't already ordered my factory one, and had known about his company, I would have definitely got one for my truck from him. Oh well, there's always gonna be more vehicles so I'm sure I'll do business with him in the future.

Nice pics you put up. Glad to see it is all working for you. I wonder how it compares with some after market systems.

They don't claim to have the range that most of the aftermarket ones have. But it should work for what I need it for. I mainly went factory because I wanted ease of instillation. Didn't want to order another aftermarket from eBay or autozone and end up splicing 20-30 wires. I didn't know about autoalarmpro.com until after. If I had to do it again I'd probably order one from them. I'd like a 2-way with alarm but don't really "need" it.
