It cant be normal across the board because mine never had it and still does not. But so far the only guys who are showing up in this thread and confessing to it are 06/07 guys
Well, my 04 doesn't do it, but that is because my windows are manual crank-type!
My 03 Escape did it. My 08 Honda does not. Heck, the headlights on my Escape would briefly dim when I turned on the AC, but only for a couple of seconds.
I'm pretty sure my 02 doesnt dim at all. It might a wee bit when they are both up all the way and you push both switches up, but when they actually move its fine.

gone for two days this blows up lol. guess i didn't say this in the original post but it is more noticeable at top and bottom like that1guy

Yeah it did.
Anything with a motor is going to pull a big draw on the system. Hell I think i was told it takes 5 minutes of idling to recharge the battery after starting.
