Default 2500-1500 shocks

Ive read a couple places that you can put 2500 shocks on a leveled 1500 because they are 2" longer. I have an 05 and my question is what years of the 2500 will fit and are they stiffer? I want them to be stiffer.

03-05 should fit from 4x2 if your truck is also 4x2.
On a side note, what shock fits a leveled 1500 4x4 03-05?

Noone sells shocks that are 2" longer, most just say to use stock shocks but it's a much rougher ride

Go to 4wheelparts.com, put in what kind of truck you have, and when you go to their shocks it will give you the option of sorting by how much front and rear lift your vehicle has. I just bought their ProComp shocks for a ram with 2" of front lift.
