There are some pics floating around but I do not have any book marked. A 2.5 or 3" y-pipe is what most guys use but you can measure your current pipe and order accordingly. If you thinking of installing nothing but the y-pipe then save your money IMO. I would do it unless I was changing to headers or no cats, ECT.

Keeping OEM manifolds, resonators and mufflers but changing just the y-pipe is not going to change anything.

What are your plans?

I have a cat back Gibson Dual Extreme setup now. I was thinking of changing the muffler to something louder. Maybe a Cherrybomb Extreme. I dont think i will do headers any time soon. I want to level the front with 5100's and maybe a SuperChips. I just thought if it was going to the shop to change muffler I could add the y pipe.
Let me know what u think. Thanks

Well that sounds like a plan. have you price any headers (shorties maybe) and seen what they run? Maybe since you are going to do a y-pipe and muffler, you can go all out and do new headers as well. That way you will have a really nice free flowing system.

If you have not already, go back to the top of this section and find the FAQs, in there they cover everything you are asking about like, tuners, headers, lifts/drops and more. There is a lot of info in there.
