what can i do to keep oil out of my throttle body?

THAT is scary right there. It should not be full or even close to it. A catch can is just that, it catches what SHOULD NOT be there but it due to internal clearances that are not right due to age, mis-alignment of rings, ECT.

I did a catch can on mine with a loop in the hose and mounted at the bottom of my rad so there was more gravity but I never caught anything major.
