Default what can i do to keep oil out of my throttle body?

i know it happens on most cars, but i am tired of it. im talking about the oil that gets into the air intake through the hose coming from your head. isnt there a way to recirculate it using some sort of catch can?

Change your PCV valve. No car should do that.

I haven't even paid attention nor looked for it, but I'm pretty sure it's buried in the driverside valve cover? Not really accessible at all.

Oil in the Throttle body is a common Hemi problem. If you can fab up some sort of catch can, then yes, it would eliminate 99% of that problem.
I pulled my T/B off at 8kmi and I was shocked on how caked the backside was with residue. It had more caked on crap than my wife's car which has 65kmi on it!!!

most every setup i found googling it showed two hoses coming out of the catch can. i figure one comes from the hose that sends the pressure to the intake pipe, but where does it get sent back into the motor at?

No, Gravity at work. Oil drops to the bottom of the can being heavier and all. I have had this issue on every vehicle I have ever owned in some form or another, So its not abnormal one bit.

Plug the line off with another filter so it doesn't go into your throttle body... nuff said. Most home brew CAI systems do this.

Otherwise get a longer hose and I think if you make a loop it might just catch some of it that way. Everything's worth a shot. Up to you.

Constant filter replacement would be necessary as it would fill up with oil and if not replaced, would leak oil down the side of your engine. Can be pretty messy on certain engine's.

Won't work. The oil is pulled to the T/B by vacuum. You can make as many loops as you want and wrap 100ft of hose around the entire truck. The oil will still make it's way to the T/B. it's all vacuum that pulls it there.

OMG. $115?? I think I'll start making them to sell for half that price, plus i don't believe that is a driect fit for the prior 09 hemi's?? atleast i thought i read that somewhere's???

put a breather filter where the hose comes out of oil filler...I've run this way for 3 years and over 100k miles with no ill effects and my tb...and I don't have to clean it as much...
