picked up my 02 4.7 1500 yesterday
Truck ran strong to jobsite untill last 5mins. it bucked and engine light came on. made to my jobsite checked codes (p0301,p0302,p0320) I know what they are and am hoping its a easy wiring fix.
if anyone has had this issue i can really use your help right now!

first 2 are misifre codes on cylinders 1&2
P0320 Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

Id say the problem is the P0320. make sure the connectors are tight and not chaffed.

 

Rich, you are just a plethora of info....

 

Mistake on codes 0301 and 0303
Should have typed 0201 and 0203
0320 is still coming up and I don't know what's causing it

 

0320 is usually a loose wire, but could also be caused by a cracked wire that is arc'ing.

talked to engine rebiulder this morning and he thought the crank sensor was iffy,but cleaned it up and installed it anyway.

I'll pick 1 up today after doc's appointment. my fiancee is pregnent!
