power window problem

so to get the switch apart get all the screws out and pop off the window switch covers. i used a set of needle nose pliers to do it and they are hard to get off.

this is what it will look like then just take it apart

this is the switch that needs to be fixed take the plastic piece of the top of it

stretch this spring out a little bit so it pushes the window switch up harder.

with a flat screw driver and the white window switch piece back in bend out the prongs a little bit. don't go too crazy but when you let go of the white switch after pushing it down it shouldn't come out of the thingy without having to pull it out past the prongs.

make sure that this little spring goes back in right before putting it back together there is a little hole that the bottom end of the spring goes into.
i would suggest pluging the circuit board into the truck before assembling to see if it works or if the prongs need to be bent out more.
Mine had the same problems others describe here with only the driver door controls making all the other windows operate but not the other individual door windows. I took my driver side door module out and started jiggling large yellow wire while wife held passenger door window switch in down position. It worked intemittently. Decided to bypass power window lock switch by jumpering between tan 12V power wire on Connector 1 and large yellow power wire on connector 2. Works perfect and is a cheap fix but power window lock function is disabled. I don't care about this since I don't have kids.
to remove the plastic switch covers is a bitch. i was afraid something was going to snap. question now is, after removing the 6 screws, what is the best way to separate the two plastic pieces? the only thing i have left on top is the L and R toggle switch....tia
NVM...i started at the top and started just to pry it apart. once you get the top apart, just slowly walk your fingers around prying it open...

you can see that the bottom part of the spring not the one that runs in the track but the other part has a little hole where it should go into its hard to see but should be able to notice it from the picture its kind of a pain to get back in.
