Default Bosch O2 Sensors

Hey guys,

I just ordered 4 Bosch O2 sensors for my Dakota, and since they were Bosch I figured I would have no problems because its a decent company, IMO. Now after reading more about them, it appears some guys have problems with them in Chryslers while others dont.

Has anyone used Bosch O2 sensors on their Dodge (4.7 or 5.7)? Any issues or did everything work out? Just doing some research before I install them so I know if I should return them or not, and not many 3rd gen Daks have replaced the O2s so I decided to ask over here.

Thanks.

Hardest part is unthreading them from the exhaust pipe. That is a PITA. There in there good. . The front two arent very easy to get to.

I use a 3/4 wrench and a rubber mallet and with one good hit I can pop mine loose

Should I bother picking up the proper O2 socket? Will it make it easier or not really? I doubt I will be able to use a breaker bar regardless due to space constraints.

See if you can get it with the 3/4 wrench first and then go from there.

I've actually had problems with Bosch O2's. I had to get OE ones from the Dealer to fix my problem....

P.S. I have LT Headers so I'm not sure if they played a part in that, but I haven't had a problem since I changed to OE ones.
