I plan to bypass mine tomorrow as well. I have no children and it gets annoying when I have a passenger that wants the window up and down constantly. Looking forward to the pics and info.

Just my luck, my 04 has totally different color wiring. No Yellow or tan wires at all.

One of the two wires in that pic are for window lock other wire is just one with power download service manual in weedahoes sig and it will tell you what color wire is for the window lock then connect it to one with power

I've had the same problem on my 03 Dodge Ram for some time now. I found this write and followed the directions but it did not fix my problem. As I looked closer, I noticed that two soldered connections were broken right next to the black switch. You can also see in your pictures that your solder is also broken if you look closely at your pictures. I resoldered those two connections and all my windows work properly now. Great write up with pictures by the way.

I have the same problem on my 02 Dakota Quadcab. The OP's pictures are no longer available. Were you able to capture and save elsewhere? If so, where might I find the post including pictures?

Thank you,

Most likely gone for good. The thread would have been stickied or moved to DIY, but the photos wouldn't have been saved or backed up by the forum, only the OP.
