2003 RAM AC Condensor fan question
You can download the service manuals in the links in my signature and go through the schematics and find any relays or controls for it.
So i am assuming anytime you turn the inside fan blower motor on and in any setting of the control ****, you are saying the AC condenser fan comes on right?

I think that's what he's saying weed and then it wont switch off until he switches the whole truck off.
I wonder if a cold reset of the PCM might help?
A lot of the AC functions are controlled through the PCM, like most systems on these vehicles. I wonder if a cold reset of the PCM would help?
It would mean the OP's radio and other devices would go back to their defaults....but so too would the PCM.
It might be worth a try?

Yes you are correct Abarmby, it will only go off when I power the truck off....if I have the AC on (whether defrost or just have the AC blowing) the fan is on...never will turn off until the truck is power off, I change the dial to anything but defrost and start it back up and its off, turn the AC or defrost on and it comes on as it should, damn thing just wont go off.....Anyhow, I have swapped the relay and no go, same issue. I know for a FACT this was not like this before, I check these things, yes I am picky. Anyhow, whats the best way to reset PCM, disconnect battery?
Thanks, elliott

What I do when I reset the PCM elliottdodge is, to disconnect the positive battery connection.
I then ground that to an earth point and switch all the lights and hazzards on, so as to drain any residual current left in any systems etc.
I also try to start the truck, to drain off any remaining current.
I leave the thing sitting for about 5-10 mins, depending on how quickly I want to do this.
Here's the important stuff.
You will loose all radio and memory dependant settings, on your ICE and things.
Also, when you reconnect the battery positive, MAKE SURE you switch OFF all the lights and stuff previously switched on to drain the current away.
Failure to do this will result in a lot of sparks and surges when you reconnect your battery. You dont want this lol.
When everythings hooked back up, start your truck and do not press the accelerator pedal. Leave the truck to idle. It might start very roughly and idle poorly for a few minutes, but it's just the PCM learning fuel trims etc.
If it won't start....don't worry, keep cranking and it eventually will.
When you first try to drive away, you might notice your airbag light and the ABS light on in your instrument cluster. Drive 50 feet or more and this will go away.
OK....your now done. It'll take a while for the PCM to set itself up with fuel trims etc and a few WOT runs seem to help. You might even notice a performance increase until the PCM relearns your driving habits.
Hope this helps?
