Well still don't have my truck back took two days to finish injector swap so I gotta wait till monday. Talked with another mechanic that I know and he gets great reviews and when I told him everything he said intake manifold before I even said that's what I think it is.

So basically I'm gonna wait till the light comes back, talk to the dealer again and basically it's going to be my way or the highway at this point. Either they look into the manifold and gaskets seriously or another form of vacuum leak or I'm done with chrysler. I'll take it to my mechanic that apparently has a brain have him fix it or chrysler can opt to reimburse me for one of the many things i've been dicked on.

Lost time with vehicle... thing has been in dealer posession for probably a total of three months since the start of the year.
My time lost from driving the damn thing in there all the time
The lost value in the vehicle because the carfax looks ****ty due to 20+ dealer visits
My money lost in now having to pay a non-retarded mechanic to fix it.

Sad part is I still love my truck and it really is a great vehicle. this is just one issue that has been drug out sooooo long that it makes the vehicle look like a lemon/problem child.

Either way I'm getting it fixed.. although my loaner atm is a 2011 ram gotta admit I like it.. Maybe they will give me a good deal on one as a way to make ammends..

Have you done anything to the intake manifold? or removed anything that was connected to it at any point in time? I cant see it just cracking or sprining a leak or anything just like that, but hey it is plastic so I guess anything is fair game with it.

Hopefully a new manifold will fix the issue, I think I remeber somewhere where they used smoke or something like it that wouldn't harm the engine or manifold to find and pin point a leak. I'll have to see if I can find the article. In any case I dont think the fuel injectors will fix it at this point, good luck

I would scream LEMON. What can they say really other than they are not smart enough to figure it out? You know they wont say that!
Tough deal though, lemons usually since you generally lose more money than it's worth.

Yeah but the only problem with "lemon" is it has to be the SAME issue 3x and still not resolved. As long as they try one thing and move one then I dont think it will be valid under the lemon law
