2" or 2.5" leveling kit on my 2008 Ram 2500 4x4 QC SB???
I found a few posts about this but there were too many 1500 guys throwing their 2 cents in. And I am not too worried about brand since they are all essentially the same thing. Probably going to go with HBS.
I am going to be putting 315/70/R17 BFGs on. I want to make sure I can clear them easily on the front but I definitely don't want the front sitting higher than the rear. I really want it level. What have you guys been installing, 2" or 2.5"?
PS - On this issue I really don't give a crap what you 1500 guys are using, it's not the same front suspension or ride height but thanks for looking.

It really kinda varies with each truck from what I have seen.
My old man has an 07 2500 (Hemi), and for whatever reason his sits almost level at stock height (hardly 1" lower in the front).
I have an 06 2500, with a Hemi also, and it had some serious rake at stock height. I installed a 2" steel leveling kit and it is almost perfectly level.
And now with the 2" leveling kit, my truck still only sits 1" higher in the front than my dads does.
Your best bet is to simply get a tape measure out and measure the difference between YOUR trucks front fender well and rear fender well, or even the pinch weld at the bottom of the body. You can also put a jack under the front of the frame, jack it up 2" (measuring the added height at the coil springs, not the bumper), and then stand back and look.

I would suggest jacking it up 2" and looking at it. The leveling kit I have on my truck was originally purchased for my dads truck, but when I went to install it on his I realized it was going to be nose high.
Its possible you may only need a 1 or 1.5" spacer to level it off... you never know until you measure.

Got my 2" leveling kit on 2 weeks ago. Rode high at first but after it settled out, it's about 1/2" (maybe less) low in the front from being perfectly level. Looks great.
I imagine when I get around to building my own front bumper or buying a Ranch Hand replacement one, about 200lbs, I will have to upgrade to a 2.5" leveling kit to compensate. Just something to think about if any of you guys are going to go custom bumpers, winches, etc.
