Pissed!! going with solid axle swap
getting sick and tired of my continual steering rack and power steering pump issues.... Gonna do a solid axle swap... Need to know exactly what parts I need to get from the donor truck??? If this all goes as planned I will have a 5.5 inch lift for sale as well as 4.56's brand new in the box never opened for sale.. If it doesnt go as planned looks like I might be getting a 2001 F350 QCLB with a 7.3 diesel

Uh... well.....
You'll need an axle off a gen 2 ram and steering box. Then you'll have to custom make everything to install coil buckets, control arm mounts, steering, deal with the ABS issues, and many other things. Honestly I would fix whats broke and get rid of the truck if you want something else.

Good luck man. Only way to NOT have rack (and other front end component) issues with those 37" tires you are running is with a solid axle. Me, I'd just sell the thing and buy that Furd. The 7.3 is sweet and the last diesel engine Ford made that I'd NOT call a "PowerJoke".
I don't know too many people with ANY brand of IFS truck who doesn't have issues with 37" tires, unless they are pavement queens...
