Default Any tips of leveling?

I have my spacers coming in tomorrow hopefully. For any of you that have done it, any tips?

My buddy that I'm doing it with has air-tools so it should be easier. Any tips that you wish you would of known before doing it? I'm planning on it taking roughly 3 hours. Also, install time will be for just spacers. I will be getting shocks from the old lady as a birthday gift in January.

As soon as I get it done I will be heading to get an alignment. Besides a bottle of Jack, anything I should know/ have before leveling her out?

Fairly simple install. I have done mine a few times.

Check this thread out though in the FAQs

coil spring compressor. It helps alot, and is free if you rent it.

That, and a buddy. You will get it done and see that its not that bigga deal (unless you are 06-08 lol)

Pre-06, they used a torsion bar suspension, 06 and up use a coil spring. I think that's it.

no I was talking about 2wds....

the 06-08 setups seem to have alot more problems leveling than the 05 unders...the upper control arm is a big stamped steel piece instead of the skinny one used on previous models....it hits the spring bucket even with 1.5s sometimes and nobody has a fix

also, brake lines are mounted different and are stretched taunt with a level on 06-08
