Do it if you want but just know that it will be more wear and tear on the tranny.

Add more horsepower to the engine is going to add more wear and tear to everything. Just drive it with some digression and our fine. Im sure if your WOT every single light something will happen but I've had mine like this for 50k miles and its still fine.

Just make sure right when you pull it to take it out on the street and pin it and come back and tell everyone how it is.

Just to clarify I was talking about the Mod where you hook the wire up to the censor in the transmission under the truck. Not talking about the one that is under the hood.. I don't think I can do the one under the hood... I remember looking for the plug but I don't believe I have it. Which is weird since I do have an 03.

The plug is on the passenger side on the firewall. There is a bolt that holds the plug on and It is a certain wire you pull out of the harness. There is a thread DIY about this but im not sure where it is. I too thought i didn't have it but i did.

Keep in mine things like the Sonnax actually boost the trans pump line pressure which in turn does a few things. It will obviously increase the line pressure which makes the trans engage and dis-engage the clutches faster. This gives a nice little shifting thump and also causes less wear on the clutches as they take less time and friction to engage.

So which one do you guys think would be better/safer ? the Sonnax or the free mod with the plug ? or should I do both ?

Also I do not have the one big plug under the hood. It looks like there is 4 plugs instead of the one big one.....
