It's been a few years since I did this on mine but I'm pretty sure that is the TCM in this pic. The wire is in the bottom connector.

so if you cut the wire it will get rid of the torque management and the sonnax plug will up the pressure in the trans?

Pull the #7 wire (yellow with dark green stripe) on the 4th plug down. I will give this a shot.

can you do this on an 06.. eliminate the torque management ?

Hey guys, new to the forum. Can you eliminate the wire on a 02 for the torque management? What exactly will that do? I have seen the wire sonnax plug on airram.com is this the same one yall are using? Thanks

No, but you have the option of programming to modify your TM.

Correct per previous post above. TMR went to electronic controlled in 04+. For the 06 you can get a Superchips to manage shift points and controls and get a Sonnax trans line booster to help out. See my posts above about the Sonnax

It is the same one. We do have a How To and DIY in the FAQs though if you are electrically inclined
