every year and different model of truck comes from the factory with all stock parts. including transmission coolers.
if you are asking if yours is going to adequate... most likely. go count how many rows it has (its right in front of the radiator) there are a few different sizes that dodge has used, 8 row, 12 row, 16 row, and a 24 row.

The cooler shown in RedTruck-Va's post is the standard cooler. 3rd gen Rams do NOT have have a cooler running through the radiator like the old days, just the one shown in the picture. Of course, Dodge offered 8, 12, 16, and 24 row coolers depending on year, and weither it was a 1500, 2500, or 3500. I added an aftermarket cooler and trans temp gauge to the factory 12 row cooler, and when I was pulling a 6500 lb trailer across the mountains in mid summer in CA, it still got hot enough I had to pull over. Granted, hot for me is above 190 for an extended period of time. Trans fluid begins to oxidize and break down above 175 degrees, and these transmissions are not known for the best life expectancy. i wonder though, that the charts for trans fluid temperature are probably based on non synthetic trans fluid, but the Ram's call for full synthetic, so the temp at which it starts to break down may be higher.

I'm hoping to get 200K out of my transmission so I religiously change the fluid and filters and watch the trans temp like a hawk.
Since you are towing in winter, you should not have a problem with it overheating I would guess.
