Is it just me, or is there really no intelligence in this post? Ford build quality is better than dodge? Ok, if you say so. For the record, I have a friend with a 6.0L quad cab chevy 4x4. Here, everybody goes out cruising in their trucks just about every friday night. He has race his share of HEMI Rams, and he has yet to win.

 

The beauty of the internet, is that I can click on whatever I want, say whatever I want, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

Man, dont fight. I agree, this topic along with a few others [How do I improve MPG, Any exaust question, etc] has been dragged out long enough, but that's no reason to be rude. People disagree all the time, but we're all connected for the love of our trucks, I am not saying one is better than the other, but clearly we all found more pro's than cons with Dodge, than any other truck, so why cant we all just get along. There's no reason to start a fight though, like saying that you lost all respect for me, because I prefered a chrome front end in another post? Just people not everyone prefers what you do, doesnt mean you need to hate them for it.

 

Who's fighting? I was just using the same type of logic that he was...

I even put 3 smiley-faces and a make-shift heart after my post...

Canadians

 

Hehe, at least nobody hates Canada.

 

i whooped a Ford last night because he was being a jerk and then a chevy later on. A lot of cars like to race and most ahve not been a real issue to outrun with the HEMI.

 

The reason nobody hates Canada is because it stands for nothing. There is no great achievement to point to and say, "Wow, look at Canada, look at what they've done." People "hate" America, and I use the term loosely because hate and jealousy are often used in conjunction, because of envy They hate the economic, military, and social influence the U.S. possesses. Or, they hate freedom.

Canadians used to be good at hockey . . . but I think the last Olympics proved the Europeans are better. Um, whatelse is good about Canada? Maple syrup . . . lumber . . . ummm . . . Wayne Gretzkey? Hell, even Wayne left Canada and came to the U.S. (to play, coach, and own a team).

So, before you say something like, "At least nobody hates Canada" realize it is because the national fabric of Canada stands for nothing - you can't hate what doesn't exist

But I'm really calling bs on alot of the chebby times posted here. An extended cab 4x4 silverado aluminum 5.3 0-60 in 7.0? My ***.

And a 4.8 silverado smoking a Hemi? I have a friend with a reg cab 2wd 4.8, and that has no where near the power my dad's Hemi QC 4x4 has.

And a 5.3 reg cab smoking a Hemi reg cab? Again, bs. They have about the worst build quality of any truck. Worst crash test ratings I think. I know the silverado is light but not THAT light. No way it would whip a reg cab hemi.

And about their 6.0, shouldnt it be making alot more power then the Hemi? I mean, it has a a bigger displacement, way higher compression ratio, and they offer it with 4.10's.

And maybe its just my personal opinion, but I think silverados are ugly, they have no diversity. I see no difference on the outside of an LT model, compared to an LS. The GMC trucks are a different story though, I think they look real good. 10x better than the silverado.
