So back iin the day on 2nd gen rams, Dodge installed everything onto the truck to install the cab roof lights, all you had to do is pull down the headliner and drill the holes that were already marked out with the bracket that is welded on in the factory.
I wanted to order some cab roof lights for my 08 but im dont know if its as easy on the 08s. i dont want to have to mark all the lights out and then they dont look right in the end.
?????????

Wiring harness still exists in the passenger pillar, but the cab is no longer marked. With the introduction of the 3rd Gens, Mopar started including a template with their light kits.
I have the Recons, didn't have a template. Just re-measured about 10x, and set the lights up there, got back and looked, then re-measured another half dozen times. Drank about 6 beers, re-measured again, then drilled the holes. LOL...

Hammer when my Dad and I installed the recons i have we did the same thing. No template came with them and also i have a moonroof so we had to put them a little more forward then usual. We used two tape measures one pulling from each side and then said the hell with measurements and did what looked right.
