As soon as i read above where you said crew cab I immediately though of a Megacab! That BJ musta been noticeably bigger, not just slightly?? If so, then yeah, you shouldn't work on your truck again...lol j/k

I didn't even pay attention to that in your post, duh. Yeah, "Ext. Crew" would be a Mega.

When I picked up the truck; the repair shop said advance auto parts also sent them the mega cab ball joint and they threw right back at them and said that's not the one. So I feel less guilty as I was guided wrong but I should of caught onto the size as I compare them now they are definitely different.

All I can do is laugh.... there are much worse things then a broken piece of metal. Also thanks for everyones help and hope my experience saves someone else from being as stupid as me. =P

stupid.no...stupid=dealer because if they made the mistake, they would have tried to charge you anyways...lmfao
