Default Satelite Radio?

Just wondering...anyone else got sat radio besides me? I love my SIRIUS Sportster and if you Dad's get one for fathers day let me know I got the perfect way to mount it that wont block your view. The guy at best buy who installed mine got creative and did a good job. Anyone considering it just ask I researched the crap out of them before I got mine. Just wondering I guess

How about some pics of the install. I had XM installed in my previous car and I didn't really care for it. A lot of my friends have sirius and like it. How did you research and what did you find, please share it with us.

The sportster is the one I have. I specifically wanted a plug & play so I could use it in the garage, house, and in my other vehicle. I didn't like the sound quality with the fm modulator so bought the chry02aux and directly connected it to my oem radio. Sound quality now CD quality.

Below is how I mounted mine. No holes or screws required.

I have XM in my truck (only due to having a pioneer head unit). I like having so much variety, and love hearing good songs I haven't heard in ages. The only thing I dislike is the way they label their stations(what does "squizz" mean) It doesn't tell you what you're listening to. Just a small limitation, that's all.

I had posted pictures of this method of installing an XM or SIRIUS radio way back a few months ago and the pics are posted in my gallery here on the board but here are direct links to each of the 2 pictures...

I haven't got one yet, but if you want to go Sirius, check out Mopar's. If you have the right factory radio (if it displays song and station info it'll work), there's no external parts other than the antenna. The tuner mounts under the dash and everything runs thru the factory radio....no separate display. Pretty slick.

I like the idea of the factoy set up, can this be added to a factory 6 disc Cd changer in an 05 ram with infinity sound or does there need to be some special sirrius radio head module?

Dunno, but I'd assume it would. If you go on Discountmopar's site and email them, they can answer that. They've answered several questions for me that way.
