Default Power lock problems

Hey, new to the forum, I have a 07 Ram 1500.

A few months back, the power lock for the rear drivers side door stopped working...kinda a pain but something I could deal with. Now tonight, the drivers door power lock stopped working too, with the key fob and the switch inside the truck....both are dead. The passenger side (front and rear) still work fine with the switch and key fob. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Thanks.

Either broken wires in the door looms or dead latch/lock assemblies.

2007 DR QC latch assembly P/N for both drivers side (with RKE) is 55276791AG and is $31 on www.wermopar.com

Here is a "How To" on it

Thanks for the quick response. Is there a way of telling if its the part you mentioned or a wire break? I'm guessing if i got everything taken apart and just checked if there was power going to it, that should tell me, correct?

You just have to pull back the rubber loom from the door to the body and check those wires. Because they move back and forth with the doors sometimes the break

Ok, i got everything apart, got the wiring harness disconnected. Only time i get power to it, and to just one of the 4 pins, and only when i hit the unlock button. I'm guessing there's a break in a wire somewhere then.
