Default Bulbs for Projectors???

So I got a set of nice projector headlights and put them in last week. They work great but one of the low beam bulbs died. Can I just use a normal bulb to replace it like a silverstar or do I need a special kind of bulb.

Aftermarket projector headlights use standard halogen bulbs. Yes you can use Silverstars, but your gonna wanna do both sides as a pair so they match.

Your best bet is to take a bulb out. Pretty sure most projectors bulbs are H series like H1 and H3 but depending on if you have seperate high/low willl determine which bulb you need. otherwise, you'll be guessing at your bulb and all projectors seem to be different based upon their style.

Yea they are separate highs and lows. I guess I'll just take the bulb out and bring it to the guy at pepboys or something.

Yeah no prob, but you owe us a favor now.

While your out messing around with your headlights, snap a few pics of the rig and post'em up, or if you already got pics show'em!! We gotta put a face to that username.

You can start a new thread in the General section with your pics and a list all your mods if there's more that won't fit in your sig.
Be sure to take some pics of those lights and what you got as well! We love pics. We live through others mods....lol
