Is his a gasser or CTD? Has he check his sensor and made sure it is plugged in and the wires to it are good?

Does the overhead temp display work? The sensor is on the driver side to the left of the headlight assembly.

The temp sensor was reading all kinds of crazy temps. It is a gasser. Went to the stealership today and picked up a new AAT sensor and replaced it and all is good now!! All the local part stores wanted $25 to $28 for that little part and he got it at the dealer for like $9. Thanks guys for your input!!
