Neverminding the fact that you can trust wikipedia about as far as you can throw a truck, the 05 parts manual supports this.

As long as you are using the QC Dana, everything lines up (except maybe the driveshaft, for QC's it definitely doesn't, so I have to get my driveshaft shortened).

Major brake issue here is proportioning, since I am guessing you haven't put the big brakes up front, you are going to have brakes out back that are as big or possibly bigger than your fronts.

I am aware they are not he best source, it was more for his benefit since he was "mis-informed" and would not take my word for it.

As for some of the differences you can also watch this video. I would fast forward to about 6:30 or so though. They do talk about the rear axle a little, including it being on top of the springs. Although I am not overly impressed by this guy doing the presentation.

That's why I asked, because I can't believe no one has scooped these up. They've been on ebay for quite awhile and include the spindles. If you don't like the 04 brakes, the 05-06 calipers will bolt on to those spindles as well.

Like I said, the 4 pistons will bolt on, but you probably won't find a set of spindles for that price much less the brakes and rotors that go with it.

Updating info. I've had to have the leaf spring plate taken off and flipped to the top side of the rear axle and i dont have to change tone ring. I asked my engine builder and he says he has never seen a different style tone ring, they've all be the same and no matter what, the tires are still spinning the same speed. Just maybe the sensor might needed to be swapped.
