Default Diablo programmer help please

I have a '08 Hemi Big Horn that I recently lowered 2/4.5 with a 275/45/20 tire. I like the tires, could sit a little lower than what I have but it's not bad. I want to recalibrate the speedo and get my mileage read correctly again and not maintain on the route of when it has 100,000 it shows 150,000 miles, shouldn't be way off but still lol. Got a price local at $450ish for the one Diablo and for the more intense version I don't really need was $750ish if I'm correct. One was $400 range and the other $700 range for sure.

OK.....so what is your question?????

Diablo makes 2 models for Dodge Rams. First is the Diablo Sport Predator (DSP), model 7137. You should be able to get this for much less the $400, Diablo has it on their website for $309 http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr...18518.2114.0.0

The other model is the DS Trinity. It supports many more vehicles than the DSP and it also has the ability to display many things that you would normally need other gauges for, such as trans temp as well as many other things. Diablo has them for sale on their website for $600, but if you look around online you can get them for around $500. I paid $483 for mine, brand new.

IMHO, given what you want to use it for... Get the Predator, and yes, for less than $400!!

Although, it should be noted that the Trinity comes with a "warranty" for your truck.

I have never heard of this "warranty" that the trinity has. What is it and where did you hear about it?

I wanted the Trinity, but my wallet could only afford the Predator. It works great, just not as fancy.

Sorry, I confused the SC Flashpaq/Cortex with the Diablo Predator/Trinty. The SC Cortex offers a warranty.

That is correct, the SC Cortex offers a warranty, unless you get the optional trans tuning, then the warranty is void.

I just want to recalibrate for smaller tires and I pull a trailer some so anything there can help a lot. I don't race or anything like that.

Update: I found a guy selling a Trinity T1000 for $400. I think I'll pull the trigger on it!

It says it'll work on a Dodge 5.9 Cummins. Would his offer anything to what the Bully Dog offers? There's states 100 plus hp and torque.

I thought you have an '08 Hemi? So then who cares about the Cummins 5.9L then? If you think you can compare the gains of a diesel to a gasser your mistaken. Yes most diesels gain nearly 100hp, but gas engines gain between 12-20hp for most manufacturers. The Hemi is within that range at I believe 17hp?

I have an '08 Bighorn QC 4x4 and have had both the Diablo Predator and Superchips Cortex.
The Superchips has more available functions/options of adjustability than the Diablo does AND the Superchips is cheaper by $50. I like the Superchips lowend/midrange better as well.
Since you tow, I say def get the superchips. You'll want to buy the added transmission tuning ($30-40) but it's well worth every penny. Upshift/downshift adjustments, partial throttle adjustments, Torque maneagement control..etc
After adjusting my tranny to shift where I want it(both up and downshift) towing is a complete breeze at 7,000lbs. Before, the truck was a total slug off the line and shifted like mush. The truck worked very hard. Now, I barely give any gas and away it goes with the same weight.
