Default Need some help

Hey guys, I'm new around the forum, well been looking for a couple months but this is my first post. So here's the problem. Got a 2004 Ram quad cab Hemi. It's got about 80k on it. Couple days ago it started making a noise up in the front, not grinding but it sounded like wheel noise, but it was different than normal. Took it up to my father's, as I don't have a jack here, jacked it up and checked for play in both front tires to check the bearings. I didn't notice anything nor did my father. Spun the wheels don't here anything out the ordinary. It sounds like almost like an tire is out of balance when I get to higher speeds but no real vibration. So I'm stumped, my father is convinced it's not the bearing so I confident in his take on things but looking for reasons why it would make or have tire like noise that it didn't before. Thanks for the help

Welcome to the site. You are on the right track for checking ball joints, tie rods, wheel bearings ect. But if you cannot find it then I would take it to a front end shop and let them check it out for free and tell you what they find with a quote for repair and then replace the parts yourself and take it back in for the alignment
