n park or nuetral my rev limit is 4000k

 

my truck just started th same thing. gonna do some research but the tranny in park the rev limiter is right around 3500 rpm. in gear wide open i have hit six all day long. it cold here thinking the truck doesnt know its out of park. keep ya posted on what i find out

yep. that is factory governed when no load unless removed via programmer.

 

hellow im new at this i dont realy know what im doing but i got a 2003 dodge neon and throttle posion sensor works backwerds an we have changed it an it hits the rev limitter about 3000 3500 rpms an if the EATX wire is not grounded it wont shift

 

Had that problem with mine once, replaced the throttle position sensor and idle air control module and it went away.
