Default new exhaust now have a CEL???? help!

ok ive got a 2007 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.7l. thursday morning i got a new exhaust. split where the y use to be into true duals with cherry bomb extreme mufflers. after putting about 50 miles on it i got the check engine light. took it to autozone got the code read and the guy said it was prolly either o2 sensor or one of the cats. he said the exact code said something about port 2 made him believe more that the cat went out. sorry i dont have all the exact info but any suggestions or ideas you guys have will be helpful?

Thats normal. But to be sure you need to know the exact code. He should have told it to you and you should have asked for it and/or written it down.

Get the codes to know for sure what the issue is.

Check for loose bolts on the exhaust manifolds and you may have to trick your rear O2's with non-foulers. Check the following thread

resetting the PCM is only a temp fix if the issue is still physically there. Eventually the PCM will detect it again

Cat-back mods should not effect the rear O2 sensors if they weren't touched.
