Default 2005 warranty question

Is the water pump/cooling system covered in the factory drivetrain warranty? 7 year/ 70k miles.

It falls under the drivetrain right?

Im not sure but why not call the dealer and see? Do you have a deductible? Might be cheaper and take less time to replace it yourself.

IDK. And instead of giving you wrong info, I suggest you call the dealer who actually provides the warranty and ask. Thats the most solid and best info I can give on it. I was under 7/70 when my rear end had small issues and I had to pay $100 deductible.

Its not hard. Just take off the hoses and belt and unbolt it from the engine timing cover.

Go get the pump from Autozone and 2 gallons of Prestone OR pay the $100 and let them have the truck for a few days

I DO believe that the water pump IS covered by the 7yr./70K mile warranty. The deductible is $100.00. Good luck!
