No Brake/Reverse Lights. See what you think!
yea weed Im just thinking its the TIPM. Ive had a parasitic draw for awhile now and that could be some of it. Ill look in that service manual.
I got someone to bring my truck in today and they cant get to it until wednesday

well weed, i just looked at the service manual for the 06. its either a reverse AND brake switch, reverse AND brake bulbs, short/bad ground to BOTH (which should knock out my running lights/turn signal also), or the TIPM or PCM (which activates them)
Since Ive had that parasitic draw it would make the think short. BUT since everything else back there is working even though one filament of the bulbs is on for running lights/turn signal, Im thinking its the TIPM not even sending power to them. Only common unit after ruling out the other things.
Its close to $1,000 before install. This truck's maintenance/replacement costs will now be at 70% of the original cost in 3 1/2 years!

Just for the guy I'm linking this for, the dealer replaced my TIPM at the cost stated above. They didn't have the part and it was on backorder. Quite a few weird electrical (mainly lighting) issues are fixed by this, but unfortunately it's an expensive fix.
